The Edge

The IAT Tools Edge offers excellent practitioner and patient comfort through the control delivered with the IAT® Tools ergonomic grip and curved profile of the Edge.

Perfectly suited to curved structures, or when a little deeper tissue penetration is required. The large double bevelled prow gives great force transmission into the soft tissue while maintaining patient tolerance. As soon as you pick up the IAT Tools Edge, you instantly know it was designed to fit snuggly into a human hand.

A small, lightweight and versatile instrument, the Edge is an essential for any practitioner wanting to mobilise & treat small to medium sized soft tissue structures. Soft tissue structures in the forearms, neck, back, lower legs and feet can all be easily worked on using the Edge.

The Scanner

Long, shallow concave and convex treatment edges make the IAT Tools Scanner ideally suited for enhanced diagnostic feedback and scanning, especially with medium to large structures. The shallow curves also enable effective treatment in delicate areas. For example, when treating over the ribs and other areas with significant bony prominences. The Scanner is also long enough to be used with either a one handed or two-handed grip. This allows optimum practitioner and patient comfort during treatment. Whilst specifically designed for diagnostic concept techniques practitioners do use the IAT Tools Scanner for a variety of other treatment techniques. For example, the flat surfaces on each side also makes the Scanner perfect for performing myofascial release or myofascial spreading techniques.

The Motion

When it comes to addressing movement dysfunction caused by soft tissue structures, the Motion comes into its element. Deep  research has led to a new understanding of how the stimulation of receptors in fascia, muscles and tendons lead to changes in soft tissue tone and affect range of motion. (As taught in our IAT® Level 1 Seminar).

After months of testing and research, we developed the unique Fascial STIM® treatment edge, perfect for influencing superficial fascia and creating dramatic changes in range of motion. We combined our Fascial STIM® edge with a deep rounded treatment surface. With a quick flip of the IAT® ergonomic grip, the practitioner can work deeper myofascial structures with ease. A winning combination that created the Motion.

The Bar

The IAT Tools Bar is designed for practitioners wanting an instrument that is going to save their hands when dealing with large structures and large people. Working on an American football player’s quads? Maybe a rugby player’s hamstrings? Or perhaps the bodybuilder’s lats? Then the Bar is the perfect mobilisation tool for you.

The Bar is the perfect example of how IAT® Tools have evolved to meet the needs of the modern practitioner. Featuring the IAT® Tools ergonomic grips, unique ‘teardrop’ design and custom ‘notch’ making the Bar a versatile and effective.

The ‘teardrop’ shape to the IAT Tools Bar allows maximal comfort for the client when performing myofascial release or deep myofascial spreading techniques and great control with minimal effort for the practitioner. The unique custom notch also allow for seamless transition between treating muscle bellies and tendons.

The HART Tool

We were contacted by several fascial manipulation practitioners to help build a tool to save their hands from the wear and tear of fascial manipulation technique. We went one better, not only designing a tool but also a technique to get rid of those hard to treat fascial points. The  Hyaluronic Acid Release Technique (HART) Tool was born. 

Designed to work for both fascial manipulation and trigger points.
